Tsunehiro "Winter Road" Bicycle

Tsunehiro Cycles was a small-production custom builder in Portland starting around 2008. Its principal was a former Boeing engineer. Its profile was high in 2010-11, when it exhibited at several shows and won several awards.

This bike or (or possibly an identical one), titled "Winter Road Bike," is among the last to appear in the company's Flickr album, in February 2012. It fits a smaller adult who's around five feet tall, or a very lucky older kid. It's designed around more proportional but less common 650C-size wheels. It features house-designed dropouts that let fenders and disc brakes more peacefully coexist on a small frame, subtly marking the bike as unique and lovingly made.
